Good Sunday morning! Just a short one today. How do you see circumstances whether good or bad? Do you dwell on the problem or see the outcome? Are you able to push on seeking God's wisdom or do you get mired in your dilemmas? Do you see vertical or horizontal? Vertical thinking is when you seek and see God in everything. Horizontal is looking at your circumstances and fearing the outcome. Fear is mentioned in the Bible oodles of times. The statement, "Do not fear" or "fear not" can be found throughout. Thinking vertically is of course the best way to see things. In the old testament, Joseph always trusted God was in everything. In the new testament Paul looked at things vertically even when he was in prison. Did they still have pain? Well sure. Did they wallow and complain? Nope. They trusted and sought Gods wisdom. We need to try to remember that we are loved and when we seek God in our daily tasks, when our perspective changes, we can handle anything. Here's my prayer for you;
Ephesians 3:14-19
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
