daily prayer

   Good morning! How are we faithing? You've accepted Jesus as Lord and savior. You did all and said all  the right things...now what? Well let me be up front and truthful, it ain't gonna be easy. Satan is coming after you. You weren't a concern before but now you are. Know this; One cannot speak words of salvation and walk back into the same life as before.  If one is earnest in the confession of faith in Jesus they will be aware of things they missed before. The apostles knew of what lay ahead and let the first disciples know what to expect;

Act 14:22
 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Why you ask? Because salvation is not something one does to escape hell only. Salvation puts you on a completely different plane, a spiritual plane that you were dead to before. You now are aware and must deal with the things that will break you down to be the person in God you are suppose to be. The cool thing is when we press into the Lord and seek his face, his Word and his spirit we find we are more capable to endure.

1Pe 5:10
 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

 Don't be dismayed when you face all sorts of things that really suck. Life can toss us things that without God we would succumb. Look at this;

2Co 4:17-18
  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

and;

1Co 2:9-10
  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Walk in peace knowing your salvation is a done deal. Jesus has you. The rest is filler and our mission is to live holy and reach out to the lost. Now go out there for whatever time you have left and praise the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob that he loves you.

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for salvation. Thank you for loving us so much you sent your son to be the final sacrifice for us all. Grant us wisdom and healings so we can be the best witness for your grace. Lord we lift our children to you. We lift our woes and repent of sins known and unknown and ask forgiveness. Open our eyes to your majesty so we know your spirit and hold onto your love. In Jesus name, amen
