daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? There is a process of repentance. Those who adhere to the ideology that "my sins are forgiven therefore I can go do what I want" are sadly missing the point. The point of repentance is to change ones mind and take a different direction. True repentance is a change of mind and purpose in life to which remission of sin is promised so repentance is on going. We ought to have the mindset that we repent as soon as we realize sin is present. We actually hate sin more and more. True repentance is also concerned with ones own sin and not anyone else because our minds must change that results in changed behavior. Sure in certain circumstances others sin may be approached but that is another subject for another day. You and I must be fully aware of our sin and be willing without pause to ask for forgiveness and change our mind about that sin. Sin is fun, that's the allure but the fall out is deadly.  I have had discussions with people about things that they never saw as sin but when they asked how or why, I could see a mind change in progress. Ripping on them isn't what woke them up but rather a simple biblical outlook opened their eyes. Being compassionate and simply stating God's view from his Word can't be argued with. We as repented and now redeemed followers ought to be living what we repented of and not going back. That is what the lost see.

Luk 13:1-5
There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Eze 18:30
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Heavenly Father,
Forgive us our transgressions. Help us repent from the things that ruin us. Help us see beyond the immediate. Grant us the courage to live according to your Word and leave the fallout to you. Bless the children and the Christians being persecuted. Bless our leaders that they wake up to your will. Protect us this day in Jesus name, amen
