Daily Prayer

Good morning! God is good! God is love! God is ever present and always has our best interest in mind. Us seeing it, well that's another issue. Whenever we get haughty in our thinking we are susceptible to satans attacks. We start to see self over Jesus. We begin a downward spiral away from God. Recognising the pride that burns is the first step. Being pleased with something or liking an outcome can be ok as long as perspective is in line with the Word of God. When we accomplish things we need to remember if not for God, our creator, we would not be able to do whatever that great thing was. He gives us the talent. He allows victories for his purpose. I know what I'm good at but more than that I know if not for Gods gifts and hand on my life I would not have any of these talents. The same is true for you. Realize God made the gene that allowed you to excel in whatever your area of success is. God made your nerve endings and muscle that does the physical and molds your brain cells in a fashion that you think and reason how you do. Realize that without Gods Word to direct your thought process you would skew your view of events in your life. Being humble and seeing Gods hand is way more beneficial than bragging on ourselves. It also keeps you from being an arrogant jerk.

This is to encourage you to know where our strength comes from. It comes from God, the maker of heaven and earth. Be pleased of a job well done. Thank the Lord that he made you so you can achieve what you do. Seek and pray God reveals to you what he would have you excel in. Be patient and open your eyes to the Word so you can see your path. Be of good cheer, the grass ain't greener over there...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for our talents and your love for us. Lord we ask you open our eyes to your ways. Show us your paths and help us remember who gave us our talents. Lord we lift Robert House to you. As he goes to the sandbox, keep him safe and help him be aware of you grace. Lord keep him safe and help him show mercy. Lord we lift the soldiers families to you. Comfort them in these times of separation from their loved ones. Lord we love you and thank you for all you do. Keep us safe from the devils snares, in Jesus name, Amen
