daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I don't know if we realize daily that lots of times we are sick or mentally bushed because we allow others and the actions of others to influence our mental and physical health. By allowing another's negativity or their pessimism effect us we take on those same traits. By thinking on things that are not well or sane we can become fearful of things we don't even need to be. We've all worried about something we think could happen and in that worry we get a headache, nauseous, depressed etc only to see nothing happened. Boy is that dumb and contrary to scripture. "Worry oneself sick" isn't just a saying. Now I do understand a parent worrying that their kids are safe, been there. I do understand apprehension at unknown new things before us but we need to keep perspective and not dwell on the what ifs and concentrate on what is. How you ask? Scripture! Read it! Speak it back for your own reassurance in those times. Our confidence isn't in man but God. Look at these and ponder...

Phil 4:8-9
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for encouraging words that we can apply to our lives. Lord, help us focus on what is real and not the worries of the world. Help us keep our eyes on you so we keep our soundness of mind. Lord we ask for blessings for those who get under our skin, help us be seen as yours. Guide us in all we do, in Jesus' name, amen
