daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I'm listening to some bird racket and wondered if a nest was outside the back door. Don't see one but lots of noise! Critters are so interesting and cool! God really "done good" when it comes to them! I've always imagined heaven being a place where we could picnic with all the creatures. Don't know if that will be the case or if we'll even care then but it is still nice to watch God's creations. Sometimes watching them brings lots of scripture to mind. They don't toil other than for feeding the kids or like the squirrels, gather for winter. The squirrels biggest fear is the cat next door and even that fear isn't real strong. I watch critters play, hunt, sit still and I wonder what they're thinking. Do they know God? Are they aware of the creator? The Word is full of references to critters. Here are a few. Think about these.

Genesis 1:24-25
Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind"; and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
NAS

Genesis 2:19
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.
NAS

Psalms 50:10-11
"For every beast of the forest is Mine,
The cattle on a thousand hills.
"I know every bird of the mountains,
And everything that moves in the field is Mine.
NAS

James 3:7-8
For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed by the human race.
NAS

Genesis 9:1-4
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the terror of you shall be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given. Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
NAS

Consider all things God has done. This message may not be profound today but take the time to observe God's creation and believe me, his greatness and ours will come into focus...
