Good morning! How are we faithing? With all we've talked about recently we must remember in times of woe that our God is ever present and ever vigil. He does not waiver. He does not get distracted away from us. He has said he is present in times of trouble and we must remind ourselves of that when we "feel" like all is caving in on us. I don't want to write empty platitudes and try to calm you with my wisdom but would rather just show you what God says in his Word because that is where truth lies.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
NAS
2 Corinthians 1:5
For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
NAS
Psalms 32:5
I acknowledged my sin to Thee,
And my iniquity I did not hide;
I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD";
And Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin.
NAS
Psalms 32:7
Thou art my hiding place;
Thou dost preserve me from trouble;
Thou dost surround me with songs of deliverance.
NAS
You may loose it all or you may have great gain. You may be happy or sad. You may endure affliction or you may sail smoothly. Regardless of you situation or your place today God is indeed present. God loves you so run to him and don't try to get your affairs in order before you go, go and then HE will help you get your affairs in order.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace and love that saves us. Lord we ask for forgiveness. Lord, help us be who you made us to be. Help us trust even when it seems baffling. Help us be a blessing to others with your love and wisdom. Help us see needs and meet them. We praise your name and stand to be counted as a believer in your son and what he did for us all. Grant us courage under fire so your greatness is seen. In Jesus name, amen
