daily prayer

    Good morning! How are we faithing? Ever feel like this?

Mark 14:34-35
And He said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death; remain here and keep watch." And He went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground, and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by.
NAS

Luke 22:42
 "Father, if Thou art willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Thine be done.
NAS

    We all have times when we feel this way. Sometimes it's overwhelming to deal with things in this life. Sometimes we may want to pack it up and flee to Tahiti or to Saskatchewan. It's also hard to remember our Lord has control and that even though we see the answer, others don't. Sometimes we don't see the answer and others do and when that shoe is on, we have trouble hearing. Let me assure you all, Jesus is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. We are the ones learning, striving and passing through this world, he already did. When we are lost as to what to do or say it behooves us to reach for the Word not only for answers but for comfort. The Word reminds us of God's love and that we are not alone or the first to deal with whatever we are dealing with today. Remember;
Isaiah 53:11
As a result of the anguish of His soul,
He will see it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge the Righteous One,
My Servant, will justify the many,
As He will bear their iniquities.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for your Word that is the only tangible thing we can hang onto no matter what befalls us. We lift these mentioned today and ask spiritual, mental and physical healing and let all know you love and care and are the one providing this healing. Lord we struggle and are lost in our own minds sometimes and we ask forgiveness when we look at other than you. Guide our paths and help our tongues speak healing and not vile things that hurt ..in Jesus name, amen
