daily prayer

Great morning! How are we faithing? As we believers talk to unbelievers we need to remember that we were once unbelievers and the Word does tell us that "all this is foolishness to the world". Talking of the love, grace and peace available through a saving knowledge of Jesus is what they need first. Pointing out that what they are doing is bad doesn't help most times. "For lack of knowledge we fall" is what the Word tells us therefore if a non believer thinks this is foolishness, he will not accept the premises. I've talked to people who are cussing and carrying on and rather than get offended and calling them on it I try to get to the root of their problem, the Holy Spirit will convict them of their sin after they come to that saving knowledge of Jesus. Besides, their sin is not any worse than mine, theirs is merely visible. It is time to get back to the basics of Jesus and his love for all of us. It is time to remember who we were, who we are now and who "they" can be also. Pray immediately when confronted with others out and about. Be ready to see their pain past their outer persona. Our savior heals the sick, comforts the hurting and loves so completely. Sharing that knowledge is the greatest sign of the love of God that we possess.

Rom 15:1-7
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

1Jn 2:1-2
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Heavenly Father,
Help us see truth and be your ambassadors. Lord we want to show you to all we meet but outer views get in the way. Grant us the wisdom to see deep into others to the heart and not outward things. Lord forgive us when we turn from the lost. Let us be courageous to do your bidding. Lord we lift those who are searching, let us be a reflection of you so they come closer to your redemption. Thank you Lord for my son's healing. Open his eyes Lord, in Jesus name, amen
