daily prayer

      Good morning! How are we faithing?  I did something half awake this morning and wondered how many times I had done it in the past and not realized it.  Ever found the orange juice in the dish cupboard? Have you ever said something completely innocent but was taken by someone as an insult or hurt their feelings? I know I have and when I found out I was so embarrassed and so sorrowful for the intention was not what was received.  We have to be careful of our actions and our words because we can inflict pain, hurt faith, mislead out of shear lack of attention.  I've also been called out on using descriptive words that were off color and not even traditional cuss words. People, pay attention. Pause before you act.  Pay attention to the entire self so that we can be a reflection of Jesus and not let the world in us spoil that view. I am not saying to walk perfectly because we can't but just be aware and pay attention so we do not cause someone weaker to stumble in their faith.  Oh and don't take your dogs medicine. It causes a desire to chase cars and scratch ones ear with their foot...

Heavenly Father,
  Forgive us when we act contrary to your Word. Lord we ask for wisdom and understanding so we can reflect your grace and love. We praise your name and do want to serve you honorably and righteously. Lord, help us not hinder your love. Open the eyes of our hearts and minds , we want to see Jesus, In Jesus name, amen
