daily prayer

Great morning!  How are we faithing? I'm struggling with the political atmosphere as of late. Man, when you look at the Word and the principles contained, only then can we make holy choices. Issues, candidates, laws, rhetoric, actions and so forth seem to all be entrenched in ideological lines based not on selfless views but selfish motives. That is so dangerous! I struggle with watching anyone follow anyone else absolutely.  Men fail. Men can be wrong on some things and right on others but that doesn't mean necessarily they are good or bad. We all make mistakes.  The one who admits and endeavors to fix them as soon as they recognize those mistakes are more worthy of a leadership role than one who doesn't.  That is true in every facet of life not just the political arena. We as believers in Messiah already have admitted we cannot hold up to the old covenant rules thus we needed and need a savior. Every day I see my own short comings and make a conscience effort to admit and improve on those things rather than try to hide or cover them up. My Lord and God teaches that as believers and receivers of the grace and love of Jesus, we face our own imperfections with assurance that our judgement isn't based on our performance. I thank God for that because the worlds view of "good" is not Gods.

Heb 10:19-22
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,  by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,  and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Remember Harold Markey...remember the Keith family...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love and grace that saves a wretch like me.  Lord you are so awesome that we cant even find words sometimes.  Lord we leave our worries and concerns at your feet and seek your face in all we do.  Help us be beacons of your love and light, in Jesus name, amen
