daily prayer

Good morning!  How are we faithing?  Unsettled this week.  So much going on and my mind is moving constantly, even the dreams are out there this week.  Many are mourning the loss of loved ones and the world tells them all sorts of slogans.  They don't help. Most times it's a lack of knowing what to say but they want to encourage and I think they really mean well.  We must mourn in our own time.  Sure dwelling to the point of incapacitation isn't healthy at all but time doesn't heal, God does.  Time just removes it further from memory but the pain is still present.  Getting alone for a short time to sort out our feelings may be necessary but staying alone can cause depression to settle in dangerously deep.  We have to share and we have to learn to cry with the people experiencing loss.  Not fake but a real emotional sharing.  Way back when people had long periods of mourning and they rallied around each other to emphasize the love for each other.
I wish I knew how to take the pain away but I can't and yet it is so apparent that growth comes in these times. We need to remind ourselves that things do happen, suck as they may, but God's love for you and I doesn't wane, in fact, he leans in when we ask.  Just think about it...

Mat 5:3-12
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.   Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.

Rev 21:3-4
And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:
and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your blessings. Thank you for salvation. Lord, we ask for wisdom and peace in our lives.  We ask for your Words to be on our tongues.  Lord bless the doctors.  Guide their hands.  Lord we lift those in mourning. Comfort them. Let them not feel guilty when they start feeling better.  In Jesus name, amen
