daily prayer

       Good morning! How are we faithing? What kind of power do we have? What are the blessings we have and how do we bless others? Do you ever think of how you may bless others throughout your day or are you just accumulating? Do you pay attention to others plight even in the midst of your own? It's easy to get self absorbed and focus on our own issues but the lessons learned in our own plight are useful for others.  If we focus only on ourselves we miss opportunities to pass on blessings we have from God.The reality of this world is that there will always be someone worse off than you as well as better off but that perception of better or worse is yours. You are viewed as better off by some and worse off by others therefore it stands to reason that from your perspective you ought to bless wherever and however you can, make sense? Instead of boo hooing over our own situation we ought to thank God we are  and are able. Just ponder these today;

Pro 3:27
 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, When it is in the power of thy hand to do it.

Jas 2:15-16
  If a brother or sister be naked and in lack of daily food,  and one of you say unto them, Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; and yet ye give them not the things needful to the body; what doth it profit?

1Jn 3:16-18
  Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath the world's goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him?  My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.

Heavenly Father,
   Thank you for your blessings in my life and thank you for wisdom in your Word that leads us. We ask for a vision that sees needs. Please forgive us when we stumble and miss opportunities to bless. Help us see truth. Help us be as compassionate as we ought to be. Sharpen our minds to truth. Lead our paths this day. Heal bodies, souls and minds in Jesus name we ask, amen
