daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? It's easier to run sometimes than to stand with Jesus in the face of all our obstacles. It's a whole lot safer to shut and lock the door than to allow anything in. Satan and his henchmen want us isolated, tired, bewildered, sad, depressed and any other state that makes us vulnerable to attacks. They are cowards. They don't want a head to head confrontation with a well healed believer. Jesus came so we may be holy and a by product is we get into heaven. Our salvation based on our belief in Jesus the Christ and our faith that begats good works drives the enemies of God nuts. As we learn more and act and think holier the enemy throws every fire our way in hopes one will stick and burn us down. Well people, our God already won these battles and as soon as we realize lifes struggles are his and not ours, we become more of a servant of God and do what he teaches leaving any fallout to him. I have struggles lately and wanted to scat off to some unknown town in Saskatchewan but that is not God's will but the flesh reaction. I'm staying. I'm standing on the promises of God. His Word is my strength and in it I will be strong. How about you?

  Mat 20:25-28
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. Not so shall it be among you: but whosoever would become great among you shall be your minister;  and whosoever would be first among you shall be your servant:  even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Rom 12:6-8
And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; or ministry, let us give ourselves to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching;  or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, let him do it with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that nourishes us. Lord, forgive our sins and help us be strong in your might and not our own. Lord help us recognize things in ourself and grant the courage to step out in your grace to fix them and to press on. We repent Lord and try to follow your will but we fall down. Lift us up with your holy righteous hands, dust us off and send us out renewed with Godly vigor. Lord we do praise your holy name, in Jesus name we pray, amen
