Good morning! How are we faithing? Stress is a weird thing thing. The more I learn from the Word the more things become evident. It is also interesting that some of the things that used to get us, don't anymore. I also notice things that used to fly by now must be dealt with. I suppose it's a maturity thing because many things never even appeared on my radar before. Learning what to handle and what not to handle can make a difference on our stress level. The things we have no control over we should let go. The things that fly at us that we can't process or handle we ought to pray about immediately as well as the things we can deal with. Our strength is in the Lord. Even though we handle many things by ourselves, the power is in the Lord. He may have equipped you or me with the ability to handle things or equipped us with immediate or even circumstantial knowledge to deal with things. When I try to handle things completely devoid of seeking Gods help, that is when I get stressed. True sometimes our plate just fills up but the Word gives perspective. I speak to people who are wound tight over things that have nothing to do with them or they can't do anything about but the pick it up and fret. I am guilty too for many reasons. I want to help. I think I need to help. I think I am helping but as soon as I carry something I can't control, stress appears thus I am no longer helping but getting in the way and most likely adding to the stress. As things come today, recognize and pray quickly. Ask if you need to pick it up or leave it to God. Ask your self some questions. Is my participation or comments helping or hindering? Do I need to even involve myself in this? Is it wiser to shut up and walk away? It doesn't matter what you think on everything or should we voice every thought so a cause for pause before speaking is definitely in order..
Jas 1:19-21
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Psa 37:7-9
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word. Help us be mindful of the things of you and less of the things of us. Help us to seek your wisdom instead of our own. Lead us to your grace this day so we be a help not a hindrance. Let us not cause pain but show your love. Grant us the wisdom of how to act. in Jesus name, amen
