daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? It is really cool how this forgiveness thing works. Prior to messiah Jesus we were to obey the law of Moses. If we didn't obey, it was called sin. If we disobeyed one law, we were guilty of all of em.  Think about that. Any little thing we did condemned us. Well gee whiz, none of us could hold up that standard so a messiah to carry our sins and make atonement was necessary. Confusing sometimes and I don't know why it is this way but it has something to do about dark and light can't coexist and the Creator loves his creations that he made so he could commune and dwell with us. He made us with a will otherwise we would be robots. He wanted us to reside in a world of light out of love and not out of compulsion. So after Messiah Jesus came, offered salvation, taught the Disciples about these things and many more we find that we also have direction and examples so we can stay in the light, or at least desire the light. I fall, so do you and thanks be to God, we have a way out. If God forgives sins, we ought to too don't you think? If God can forgive when we fall, ought we do the same? The next time you feel you are being stepped and you want to smash a face, remember these things so you may pause and consider that persons condition. Consider leading others to the light not by compulsion but by love. Think about that.

Joh 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Act 13:38-39
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:  And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for leading us in the bright direction. Thank you for loving us enough to even care. Lead us with wisdom and courage to forgive others as you have us. Remind us when we want to chastise when we ought to be loving. In Jesus name, amen
