Good morning! How are we faithing? Yesterday I learned some things that I didn't even know there was a question. I like days like that where I have a wow moment. Learning never gets old but I have learned to question and verify. I have learned and disseminated much misinformation in my past and I am determined not to do that again. I will not maintain 100% I'm sure but I am sure gonna make that effort. Our mouths and our egos I suppose get us in trouble. Why do we feel we have to know all or have the only answer to worldly stuff? Why is it hard to admit we don't have a clue sometimes? It's not hard to admit it but ego, self worth etc. gets in the way of seeking and admitting we don't know. How many times have you been asked and your answer dismissed? Why is that? Because many times people are looking to justify their own way and not the truth. Our common enemy uses that natural tendency to our detriment. Satan ain't omnipotent but he's been around a long time and knows where we humans are vulnerable. Pause before you comment. Ask yourself if it matters what you think. Ask if your opinion or interjection will edify or just be said for personal glory. There's a lot of wisdom in the statement, "let you yes be yes and your no be no." We ought not tear down another person even if we are right. Reserving comment is prudent most times. Jesus didn't mince words but he also did not talk about people or interject unless he was asked. He spoke truth and only truth that was above reproach. You know what? Their house ain't mine so my opinion is irrelevant. Their clothes are theirs so why do I care? Their car is theirs. There opinion is theirs and it isn't our job to correct most times. You see the point? When we are asked for help, use some wisdom of the Word and recognise whether they are seeking help or just want to gossip.
Mat 5:33-37
Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom in your Word. Help us think before we speak. Help us have a desire to learn about you. Grant us courage and wisdom to recognise truth. We rebuke satan and his minion from our thoughts and only receive your goodness and truth in our minds and hearts. Be with those grieving, comfort them, in Jesus name, amen
