daily prayer

     Good morning! How are we faithing? It is amazing how history repeats especially when it's forgotten. I listen to pundents say what seems to be great words and then look at some history and discover the same rhetoric with the same results and am convinced  they will follow suit now.  Some people are so full of themselves they think it'll work this time because they are doing it.  History doesn't bear that out in fact, history shows the same attitude, the same thought process and the same outcome so me in my not even close to as intelligent as the people in charge, can see what's about to transpire. Here is something to chew on;

Heb 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Psa 103:17-18
  But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

Jesus has promised to always be. There is no evidence he is slacking concerning this so we ought to press forward as believers knowing he remains constant. The outcome of whatever you are facing is discernible if we know where to look. First the Word then history. We can change courses but we can't change outcomes. Blow a red light and the odds are you will hit or get hit, we have no control of the outcome, just the choice. Make the right choice. Read the Word. Pay attention to history. Trust in the Lord for his outcomes are always good.

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for wisdom in your Word. Help us be wise in our choices and intelligent enough to look for outcomes in history so we don't repeat the bad choices. Grant us the courage to act holy, merciful, graceful and wise today, in Jesus name, amen
