Good morning! How are we faithing! Sometimes we have to think a little beyond ourselves. I realize that my life is minuscule compared to how long this earth has been around. Yes we all feel like we are the only ones dealing with our current situation but we have to remind ourselves, that isn't the case at all. Being humble about our lives is a matter of just looking at history. There were a lot of good people around 150 yrs ago but none of them are here now. We are to be what God designed us to be in the time he decided for us to live in. Our humble vapor of an existence can either be superfluous or leave lasting things. I for one want to serve God and I want my kids, like I have to look back fondly at Dad, Grandpa, some day great grandpa and smile. I want to live as holy as I can and influence those I meet in hopes they find Jesus and his gift of pardon. I don't want to do anything that may turn someone from that so remembering "I" and "me" is inconsequential when I really look at how long I am here. I should make the most of that time for my Lord. How about you?
1Pe 1:24-25
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Jas 4:14
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

1Jn 2:16-17
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for life. Thank you for children for us to nurture. Lord forgive our short comings and help us never forget who we are. Lead us down the path of holiness. Bless those traveling, in Jesus name, amen
