Good morning! How are we faithing? We need to wake up. We need to be aware of the horrifying things going on in the world not to be afraid but simply to be aware because as these birth pains we talked of yesterday increase we will see more and more horrific things. I've heard,"where is God?" when things happen and rather than looking at root causes people tend to place blame, point fingers and name calling ensues. I disagree with what the President may do therefore I am a racist. If I disagree with what a muslim cleric says I am a bigot. I think a TV evangelist is off base on something I am a non-believer. All this pointing of fingers at a person rather than a view. The scriptures are plain and if I see an idea that is contrary to scripture I can't follow it but that does not make me (place label here). President Reagan is quoted as saying,"trust but verify" and I agree. Our own investigation into policies and thoughts has to be grounded in something other than who said it to us. Many a horde have flung themselves to death march over what so and so said. Believing words from a revered person on that reverence only can lead one places they never dreamed they would go. Look at history and one would see disaster after disaster. The Bible is full of similar things. Like yesterdays daily I again encourage you to seek the light of Jesus before it's too late.
Luk 21:10-18
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
Heavenly Father,
Help us be aware and cognocent of your presence in our lives. Help us see truth, understand truth and desire truth especially when we are ingrained from unreliable sources thought to be reliable. Grant us wisdom to see where mistakes are made and where outright deception is at play. Grant us the grace to see hearts and love like you do. Grant us strength not to fear. In Jesus name, amen
