daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing?

Pro 4:13  Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Pro 4:14  Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
Pro 4:15  Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
Pro 4:16  For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
Pro 4:17  For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
Pro 4:18  But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Pro 4:19  The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

We see this all around us and yet we fail to turn from things. Many times it's simple ignorance that we find ourselves in situations but those of us who keep stepping in the same pile of dung are either not paying attention or we don't care. Or perhaps we like the dung between our toes. Be careful. Wickedness is like a disease. Look at the things going on in the middle east right now and they claim it is in the name of God. Makes me ask, "which God?" Scripture describes these things as evil. Evil is in the world. I hear people say,"a just god wouldn't let these things happen", he didn't, we did. Be honest, if we were to continue to do vile evil things, why would God bail us out? The point is not to point blame or look for excuses but turn from wicked ways. Stop doing things and complaining about the results. And believers, hear me, there are consequences for our deeds on this earth. Yes you have eternal life but the physical has physical laws we can't break. Gravity being one. Jump and you will fall. Jump from a high enough height and you will die. You want to be in God's will? Seek him out in the scriptures. Do not fear what he may lead you to because anything he takes us to he will equip us and it will be better than anything we could possibly imagine. Don't like your situation? Take steps to change it in accordance with the Word of God.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word. Grant us vision and visions. Grant us dreams that are vivid and from you. Show us the paths you have for us. Help us to be your servants. In Jesus name, amen
