daily prayer

   Good morning! How are we faithing? So much going on and although aware of the times we live in I found myself looking for a respite from it all. Oh I have my time with God in prayer, in communion. Without that I would be totally a basket case but there's a place in all our lives where everything was ok and as humans we tend to try to bring that time back. An example is the oldies station on the radio. Another is old cars or boats or bikes etc. There are times we can look to that we felt calm, right with everything as it were. Where is you respite? Where does your mind wander to when you are under great stress? Yeah it is good to walk the woods in the fall and smell the smells of youth perhaps but without a foundation these respites can harm us. We can't go back. Nothing stays the same so get your foundation done and then go rest occasionally where ever you need to but always include God and don't stay there to long, life does go on. Remember;

Joh 1:1-5
  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.   All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.   In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not

Heavenly Father,
  We ask blessings and courage in times of stress. Help us see truth, rest and renew and to always hear your small still voice. We praise you Lord and in your son's name Jesus we pray, amen
