Good morning! How are we faithing this fine day? We as believers in the one true God have to be wise on how we deliver ideology. It's simple really, the Word is quite specific in what is considered right and what is considered wrong. Theology sometimes takes it a step beyond the Word and that can be dangerous. That can lead to things like refusing to associate with certain people or condemning certain people and things like that. That is not a wise thing to do because those are the exact people we ought to be showing Jesus to. The Word says we are made in his image and we are here to please the Lord. We also have a way to redemption and guess what? That way is available even to that sinner you think is going straight to hell. You may be right but while he is in this flesh body he is able to repent and find salvation in Jesus, just like you and I did therefore, we must show Jesus all the time so that heinous person may find salvation. I know I harp on this subject a lot because it is so important for us to be who we are in Christ. If we don't reach the lost, who will?
Luk 19:2-10
And behold, there was a man named Zaccheus, who was a chief tax-collector. And he was rich.
And he sought to see Jesus, to see who He was. And he could not because of the press, because he was little in stature. And he ran in front and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him. For He was to pass through that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him. And He said to him, Zaccheus! Hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house. And hurrying he came down, and received Him joyfully. And seeing, they all murmured, saying, He has gone in to stay with a sinful man. And Zaccheus stood and said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor. And in anything I accused anyone falsely, I restore it fourfold. And Jesus said to him, This day salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. We ask for wisdom to help others find your grace. We ask for temperance so we harm no one. We ask to see the heart as you do. Lord, forgive us our failings. Help us understand situations and recognize evil and act appropriately. Bless the Pastors and ministers out there, bless our children, bless our leaders, grant us visions that keep us focused. In Jesus name we pray, amen
