daily prayer

     Good morning! How are we faithing? I struggle sometimes like Jonah did. He saw the Ninivites as wicked evil people sinning and deserving punishment. God told Jonah to go preach repentance and Jonah didn't want to. Jonah wanted them to pay. We know the rest of the story. Do we have the heart of God? Do we want all people to come to salvation or do we not give a darn about "those wicked people"? Oh boy man, be very very careful how you judge. Yes we must call correctly what sin we see but at the same time we must try to reach the lost sinner. They are not going to behave like they are pardoned until they come to the realization they need saving. That's where we come in. That's what we have to keep in mind while we present Christ. I have had men cuss and carry on all the while I am telling them they can be redeemed and I could not call them on it or expect them to stop cussing as long as they are lost. Ain't my part to play. We cannot let offense get in between seeking and leading the lost to Jesus. As we shake our heads at sin we must pray for the sinner. As we go to the voting both to right wrongs we must remember to pray for the offenders of God's Word. Where are you standing today? Are you seeking opportunities to increase our Fathers kingdom? Are you avoiding that heathen and forgetting how short life can be? Will that heathen miss his chance because of you? Things to ponder eh?

Isa 42:5-7
  Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:  I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

And remember Jesus said;

Joh 21:19-22
  This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Are you following Jesus or concerning yourself with everyone else's walk?
