Good morning! How are you faithing? Capturing all thoughts that enter into our heads is an exercise in futility if we do not seek God. All those random thoughts that are contrary to scripture cannot be fought if you don't read scripture. People buy into sayings and out right lies when they don't have scripture to refer to. A family loses a child and someone says,"well God needed another angel" is pure hogwash and yet people say this thinking it helps not even realizing people don't become angels any more than angels become people. I hear people quote Shakespeare like it's biblical truth. Those errant thoughts that come from our imagination or from the enemy must be captured and either accepted or thrown out. We must realize that the Holy Spirit will prompt but we must know that he will never prompt contrary to scripture so for us to be able to decipher, read your Bible. People, simply know who you are and who your Lord is and be diligent in taking in the Word so you can fend off the attacks of everything not of God.
1Pe 3:8-12
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that surrounds us. Help our minds and spirits recognize truth from lies. Help us truly love other the way you love us. Forgive our sins Lord and guide us this work week, In Jesus name, amen
