Good morning! How are we faithing? Guilt. We all deal with it. Do you realize God will convict you of past errors while the enemy will condemn you. You know most times when you screw up. When you hang your head saying "drat, I screwed up", what do you hear? Do you hear, "and you call yourself a Christian" or "you suck, you don't deserve forgiveness". If that is what you hear, the enemy has launched an attack. The enemy and his minion kicks you when you're down. God does not. God will whisper, "sigh, lets go apologize" or the like. We are Gods sons and daughters. We will be picked up, dusted off just like we do our kids when they fail. Many a suicide is from guilt. Many a drink is taken in the name of guilt. Look at this;
2Co 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
2Co 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Guilt can ruin you if you do not confess to each other and to God. He already knows but it is for your good that you confess and God said if we ask for it, he gives it. There are numerous warnings in the Word about the wiles of the enemy and being forwarned is being armed for battle, because we are in a big one ...
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that satiates us and teaches us how to deal with life. Lord we ask forgiveness for our sins and ask for a renewing of our minds so we can see you more clearly. We ask for recognition of your voice. We praise your Holy name Lord and it is in Jesus name we pray
