daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? There have been tons of books written on "The Day of the Lord" and tons more on the snatching away of the church. The point I want to make today is we don't know when this will take place in our current times or if it will take place in this time but what we do know is it should be comforting for us to know, we that believe, will all be with the Lord eventually. That may not sit very comforting in certain parts of the world today but that is nothing new either. There are wars and rumors of wars all over the globe. There are awful things taking place everywhere but there is also good things going on and I am convinced that is because believers are still present. If it were not for that, evil would consume the world just as predicted in the Bible. While we are still here we must be diligent in our Christian walk. We must be prepared for the fight against the enemy of mankind. All the verses we have talked about before explains who and what we are up against so use these verses below as Paul intended as assurance and comfort of our place in Heaven.

1Th 5:1-11
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.   Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.   For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Heavenly Father,
We praise you Lord and thank you for everything. We ask for wisdom to see truth through the worlds mire. Show us how and where to speak of you so others come to know you. Help us be the people of you Lord and not just church people. Lord, we bless you as you bless us and hold your name above all others and in the name of Jesus we pray, amen
