Good morning! How are we faithing?  We've heard a gazillion sermons on pruning but have you really took it to heart? When you cut back your rose bush it makes more flowers right? When God prunes us we show more God. People see and respond to that fruit we bear. Don't think so? Know any braggarts? Liars? Egomaniacs? How do they react to things and what is their life like? What do they attract and what do they expel? Pay attention and learn because if we refuse to be pruned and learn, we will end up stagnant and pretty much useless.

John 15:1-4
 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Heavenly Father,
   Help us accept your pruning. Help us believe you are in control and even when we complain help us realize that is what's going on. We desire to have your heart and to share that heart with others. Bless those in pain and turmoil, let your light shine in their hearts. In Jesus name, amen
