Good morning! How are we faithing? Ever know that you know something is true and others try to convince you otherwise? Their arguments are so ridiculous and vain sometimes and you have to work real hard not to slap em silly.  Bragging sounds like this.  Lies sound like this.  Uninformed or misinformed rhetoric sounds like this. We are surrounded by these things and if we do not seek truth ourselves we can be drawn into unwise things right along with the other lemmings. Don't be lazy and repeat what you hear without checking into it and even then repeating. Raise the question of who is served by we spreading whatever information we possess. Jesus didn't talk about people or did he spread things that came his way. Jesus was truthful and wise. Jesus dealt straight on with people.  Jesus did not need to prop himself up with comparisons or gossip about others. Do you do that? Pay attention to your conversation today. Do you encourage or talk about others? Do you concern yourself with spreading peace or gossip? Do you criticize or lend a hand?

2Pe 3:1  This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jas_5:12
But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that has all the wisdom we need. Help us be holy with our speech just like in Psalm 141. Teach us how to encourage and not criticize and when and where appropriate. Lord, we lift those in need today.  Open their eyes to your ways. Give them peace to continue on. We lift up our spouses to you. Heal and protect them Lord. It is in Jesus name we pray, amen
