Good morning! How are we faithing? Wisdom is so important with all the voices we hear every day. Those voices can be contrived and we don't have any trouble finding one who speaks exactly what one believes. The media, whether the news channels or social platforms, are so contradictory that there just isn't a source anyone can trust 100% of the time. So true wisdom has only one reliable source, the Word, Jesus. With that truth it would make sense that anything heard should be researched before repeated simply because of the confusion seen today. The Bible says people will be running to and fro and knowledge will increase. We see it all around but what about wisdom?

Jas 3:13-18  Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works by his good conduct with meekness of wisdom.  But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your hearts, do not glory and lie against the truth. This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife are, there is confusion and every foul deed.  But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.   And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Very interesting no? Tons of things can cloud wisdom and what is in our hearts can contribute to recognizing truth and folly therefore it would be wise to keep our Lord in front of our minds.

Heavenly Father, Help us be wise with your knowledge. Help us decipher all the information we are hit with every day and to toss out the lies. Lord we want to serve you and not cause harm. We want to be a light in a dark world. Open our ears to your Word. In Jesus name, amen
