Good morning! How are we faithing? There are arguments and fighting over little things in the world. "Karens",male and female, as they are called who are self righteous and think they have all the answers and also if they are inconvenienced think they can cause retribution. I've seen people go off on a waitress because their steak is raw. I've seen people go off on clerks because an item is expensive. The rants and raves go on and on. Are people that unhappy that they would lash out at the innocent? Are people so self absorbed that they trash anyone or anything because they feel entitled? Yup. Exactly and we as believers, redeemed by Jesus' grace, had better not be that type of person. How can we be the light of the world and attract the lost to Jesus if we moan and groan about things that have no everlasting value? We are living a time where it seems hearts have hardened to the point there is no love for our fellow man. Shootings, murders, rapes, robberies are rampant so what are we to do?

1Pe 3:8-11  And finally, all be of one mind, having compassion on one another, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly.  Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.  For he that wants to love life and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile. Let him turn aside from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

The enemy wants to trigger our anger but don't let him. I know sometimes anger is justified but be very aware of how you display or act on that anger...

Eph 4:26-27  Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down upon your wrath,  neither give place to the Devil.

Heavenly Father, Forgive us when we sin in our anger. Help us be patient and fully aware when we are being used and pushed in that direction. Help us love and be peacemakers for your glory. Help us reflect you and not ourselves. In Jesus name, amen
