      Good morning! How are we faithing? Watching all the rhetoric after last week I am amazed, not surprised but amazed there are so many people caught up in evil thoughts and actions. As more comes out about events, I wrestle with myself feeling angry and ashamed that human beings can act so heinously. As believers in Jesus we were warned to not associate with evil people. It is hard to decipher who is evil.  While hate the sin and not the sinner is totally the way we should act, we also have to recognize evil and non repentance of said evil. We are warned many times of association with bad people and how it will corrupt us. Look at this;

2Pe 2:1-3  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Wow man. While we try to forgive everyone who wrongs us we must also recognize evil and call it out.  Here's wisdom;

Gal 5:17-21  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.   But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ask yourself questions when confronted with suspected evil. Introspect your desires and thoughts about everything. Compare it to Jesus' teachings and the epistles of the apostles.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your Word that sustains us. We do ask for forgiveness and we repent of our sins. Open our eyes to evil when confronted and grant us courage to act holy. Lord we lift those hurting and those seeking truth in this sea of lies. Lord, we lift you up above all our own desires. Help us be a beacon of your grace and truth in these times..In Jesus name, Amen
