Good morning! How are we faithing? What are you passionate about? What makes you stand up and define your position? Passions can be job related, hobby related etc. but what about our passion for our savior? Do we present our enthusiasm for Jesus as much as our guitar passion? Our baseball passion? Our political affiliation passion? It matters. Things in life require passion to improve but what order do we keep our passions? Here's one people argue about; God first, Spouse second, kids third. God first is our relationship with the Savior. Our living choices with his view points. A Biblical world view if you will. Second is our spouse/marriage. We are taught in the Word about how to deal with our wives and husbands. Then the kids/grandkids. Then the job and the things of this world that support the first two. It ain't easy to keep these in order and God knows I always have not but as soon as realization hits, the order should return. People are good at things in this world and passion is why but when that passion for the things of this world become first, the rest can fall apart. This always grounds me;

Eph 5:25-27  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;  That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,  That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 

Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word that grounds us. Help us live according to your Word. Help us repent when we don't. Help us recognize when the world creeps in and messes us up. Lord forgive us when we sin. We want to live holy but we fail often. Lord, bless our leaders. Bless our teachers to not be afraid to teach your truth. In Jesus name, amen
