daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Thankfulness is being talked about all around this week and well, do you know what you are thankful for? Do you thank God in the bad as well as the good times? Do you recognize that those times come on all of us and we need to remember the good times during the bad and the bad times during the good? It sounds weird or even contradictory to the world to praise God for all times. It doesn't make sense to the world to remember the good times during the bad and visa versa but the world rather asks,"what have you done for me lately?" The worlds question is pure selfishness and that can take us down a road that is very traveled but wrought with danger, pot holes and broken pavement. It seems the road less traveled is in much better shape so why would we not drive that one? Real thanksgiving is a place we as believers ought to be at all times. Oh I know we have those dissatisfied times but we still need to be thankful because in all times, we can learn a lesson. Sometimes it's,"better not repeat that action" and sometimes it's,"I need to remember this". So now we know that we ought to be thankful for all because there always is a lesson. Try it. It will change your attitude to rough times and increase your enjoyment in the good.

Heb 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

2Co 4:15-18
For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your blessings on us. Thank you for difficulties that teach us how to rely on you. Thank you for your wisdom that leads us. We thank you for salvation. We lift our leaders to you. Open eyes to your will in Jesus name, amen
