Good morning! How are we faithing? Do you have trouble with the political landscape of today? Yeah, I know, alot is happening. The media, far left, far right, the war, candidates spewing mud. It gets hard to tell what to believe or what to listen to. Jesus had the same type of stuff happening way back then also. Political turmoil is nothing new. Should we be afraid? Naw, God is in charge, concerned? oh yeah, we should be praying for these people in charge making decisions. Our strength is in the Lord. The Word is still the best place for wisdom.
Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
NIV
Romans 1:16-17
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
NIV
We must live by faith in God. The things of this world can depress and overwhelm us. Pray for the leaders, pray for the troops, pray for the candidates, pray for the issues, pray for your boss, pray for everything and believe God is in charge and in control.
Isaiah 12:22
Surely God is my salvation;I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song;he has become my salvation."
NIV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being in control of all the stuff in this world. Teach us to rest in you and rely on your wisdom for all our needs. Help us see your light and teach us to radiate the same light to all we meet. We ask you grant wisdom to those in charge of us and our jobs and country. We lift up Donnie to you...we lift Carl and Berta, heal them... thank you for your love, in Jesus name, Amen
