Daily Prayer

Good morning! Man, tired and feel like a dung heap. How are we faithing? Do you have trouble forgiving others? Do you say," I forgive but I aint gonna forget!" Well guess what, bad way to think. God has forgiven you completely when you accept Jesus as savior so what gives us the right to get another crack in on someone or hold that grudge? The light just came on didn't it. I'm as guilty as the next person. Satan uses that ploy to make in us an unforgiving spirit and it stinks like brimstone. We have to forgive like we were forgiven when Jesus did us. I know this is a revisit of a subject matter but it needs to be brought up alot. We hear these kinds of comments all the time about forgiving and not forgetting. Dont know about you but I dont want my past sins remembered and God says he doesn't. Therefore we need to follow that example.

John 2:1-6
My little children, I am writing these things to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Now don't start banging yourself on the head over this, just pray and try to develop a truely forgiving spirit that follows in Jesus example. When you notice you are still wound up over a diservice someone has done to you, pray and ask for the wisdom and strength to really forgive that wrong. If you have trouble, call someone and pray together. Remember Jerry wheeler's family, his sister passed.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your love and forgiveness. Teach us to truly forgive others and show us how to put it to rest. We lift Jerry wheelers family to you, comfort them in this time. Comfort them and surround them with your peace. We thank you Breens trip to Alaska went ok and the guys all came home safe. We lift Christy up to you, keep her healthy. We lift Magan up, keep her safe and help her focus on you. We lift Nicki, Kaleb and the boys to you, also Jennifers twins, keep them healthy. Thank you for all you do, in Jesus name, Amen
