Good morning! Lots o stuff in this noggin and not all of it coherent. Dreams invade us. Passing thoughts and wonders abound. The things that matter are sometimes tough to keep in the forefront and the trivial things take precedence. Our mind can be a playground of things that can benefit or destroy us. Thinking about war and the horrors seen by our young people is a concern this day and age as well as all the other tragedies that befall us. Praying for each other so we can get through this world sane is important. The things that happen to us can either paralyze us or bring our faith to the forefront. Hard as things can be, God is steadfast in his love and concern for us, even when we aren't.
2 Corinthians 2:14-17
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.
NIV
As we go through things every day, let us try to remember that God is present and with us. Satan prowls looking for someone to devour but do not fear him for our Lord is bigger'n he is, heck he made him! Satans' pride is his downfall. Remember who you are and who God is and be reassured that your place is set when you accept Christs' gift of salvation. Satan will toss darts at you but they can't penetrate.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving us and teaching your Word. Help us see you in all things and help us be courageous when we confront trials. Lord we praise and worship your holy name! We ask you be with the troops. We request you be with those in hospitals. We ask you keep us safe from the evil one. Lord keep your arms around us, help us see you and seek you. in Jesus name, Amen
