Daily Prayer

Good morning!! Sorry I missed yesterday, work came early. Alot happened in the last few days that have really made introspection and deep thought take place. We need to open the Word whenever we can via the printed page or the radio or whatever means available to us. The Word is our spiritual nourishment and just like food for our bodies it is necessary daily. It is so easy to get sidetracked with the concerns of life. Things need to be done but being consumed by work, hobbies or whatever takes up our time is dangerous. Our spiritual well being must be feed just like our bodies. When not fed it grows weak and is susceptible to disease, i.e. the devil and his henchmen.

1 Peter 5:8-9
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
NIV

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
NIV

Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
NIV

We need to remember from where we came and where we are going. Jesus promised a place for us when we believe. When the concerns of this world come at you, seek the wisdom from the guy who created it. Feed your soul. Seek heavenly wisdom. Trust the Word of God.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your Word that grows us up. Teach us to be dedicated to your voice. Show us you ways and help us see your will. We lift up the people who read this. We lift Bill and Martha up to you. Grant them wisdom and give them rest. We lift Mike to you, show him your plan for him. Thank you for your grace. Lord we desire to be more like you so help us see you in all we do. in Jesus name, Amen
