Daily Prayer

Great Monday morning! Weee! Another week to enjoy! Praise God that we are able to enjoy. How do we know when God speaks to us? How do listen to our conscience? Scripture, back up what you are hearing by getting in the Word. Don't say you don't know how, there are to many resources out there to guide us. Have you ever heard in your head,"NO!" or "are you nuts?". Of course there is the natural fight or flight thing that we deal with when we are contemplating something dangerous or our mind perceives as dangerous but that is not what we are talking about. We are speaking of when that voice in your head tells you yay or nay and it isn't contrary to scriptural principles.

Romans 8:9-11
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
NIV

or, you accepted Christ as savior, the Holy Spirit of God now dwells in you and will prompt you if you but seek Gods will and wisdom. We all struggle with decisions and seek to do the right thing. The cool thing we as believers have is a helper.

Romans 5:5
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit , whom he has given us.
NIV

Read acts and look at how many times the Holy Spirit is mentioned. Our helper is here big time. If we pay attention, decisions become evident. Sometimes it may be contrary to worldly wisdom but Gods wisdom is sound and always correct.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your Holy Spirit that guides us. Keep us keenly aware of your wisdom and principles. Open our ears to you. Thank you for all the blessing you give us. We lift our church family and all the people on this list to you. Touch them and show them that you are indeed walking with them. Lord we lift your name in reverence and ask you bless us beyond our comprehension, in Jesus name, Amen
