Daily Prayer

Good morning! Brisk, I mean BRISK fall morning. For those of you in the north, this is a summer morn...Just funnin...How are we faithing? How was your weekend? Restful I hope. Many times as we go through our days full of work, play, and other distractions, do you remember to lift up Jesus? Do you take the nano second of time to thank him for every little thing? Even the unpleasant things or the events that interfere with our schedule can have lasting implications on our lives. Like yesterdays prayer, vertical thinking is superior to horizontal. When we focus on God and realize He is in charge, He knows all, He has the plan for your life, we do better. The little things that get under our skin can become opportunities for grace if we look beyond the circumstance and remember that a bigger thing may be happening. Check these verses of confidence and assurance and remember when things happen, look up, know God is in charge. Be wise enough not to blame but seek the wisdom to see what is the root of the situation.

Psalms 73:21-24
When my heart was embittered,And I was pierced within, Then I was senseless and ignorant;I was like a beast before Thee. Nevertheless I am continually with Thee;Thou hast taken hold of my right hand. With Thy counsel Thou wilt guide me,And afterward receive me to glory.
NAS

Psalms 48:14
For such is God, Our God forever and ever;He will guide us until death.
NAS

Psalms 31:3-5
For Thou art my rock and my fortress; For Thy name's sake Thou wilt lead me and guide me. Thou wilt pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me;For Thou art my strength. Into Thy hand I commit my spirit;Thou hast ransomed me, O LORD, God of truth.
NAS

Cool man! Remember Leslie, Turleys bud... Brian,Maria,Joseph Mann...pray for each other that we stay on the road God has for us and we don't slide off on the slick crap satan put on the road...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for revealing your Word to us. Thank you for assuring us we can depend on you even when everything gets dark. Lord help us see your wisdom and the path we need to be on. We lift up praises and thanksgivings to you for your grace and salvation. Lord we lift Leslie to you, give her a touch of the masters hand. Lord the Manns need you to intervene on their behalf, help them see you, help them know you are with them. Teach them to seek you first and rest on your love. Thank you for all you do, in Jesus name, Amen
