Daily Prayer

Good morning! Cold morning but I like it! Whoosh! A rock just flew by! Ha Ha! How are we faithing? Man sometimes when the truth is revealed we respond by saying,"Duh, why didn't I see it?" Truths are sometimes self evident and sometimes somewhat obscure. We don't always speak of God and his goodness for fear of criticising or belittlement. So what! What we talk about here is our eternal outcome! Gee whiz, a little uncomfortable jeering is worth someone finding out the truth. Right? Look, I am not telling you we should stand on the corner with an "end is near" sign, just that our discomfort is inconsequential considering the importance of Jesus and eternity. Studying the Word, prayer time,(communing with God), fellowship with others is important for our faith so we can be able to withstand the attacks on self and live the truth. We need not be afraid to speak of these things. When God reveals propositional truths in his Word, we are obligated to peruse them , pray about them and live them.

Romans 8:18-21
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
NIV

Seal the truth in your heart. Don't fall victim to things said that are contrary to the Word. Don't let dogma dim your enthusiasm. Our God loves us. Our God cares about everything in our lives. Religion has its place but Gods redemption is what matters. Have a blessed day and don't forget to vote! Remember Chris Hall on his job...remember Stewart Home School's residents...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for revealing yourself to us. Make us keenly aware of any heresy that creeps in our lives. Help us see what is truth and what is not. Lord we lift the residents of Stewart School, comfort them and show yourself to these kids. Lord we lift each other to you that we may be lights and have courage to shine for you! We lift Chris to you, help him see you and give him strength to endure, in Jesus name, Amen
