Daily Prayer

Good morning! What a glorious day to be on the green side of the grass! Man, God needs me, right?...like a fish needs a bicycle. God doesn't need us, he Wants us! God loves us!

Romans 8:37-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Is that telling or what? God loves YOU and me. No other reason for him to want you to be whole, body,mind and spirit but that he loves you! Sit and think on that and let it fill your being. God loves us. Man, awesome!
With that thought in mind, follow this line of thinking. If God loves us, it stands to reason he wants what is best for us. Also along this line he would not want us to have or do what will hurt us. Ok, he is omnipresent,omnipotent, the alpha and omega therefore we should listen to his Word and trust that what he tells us is correct and true. So we have a Lord who loves us, wants us and said he will provide for us. The truths we find in the Word are so relevant to us today that God is still speaking even though the text is a couple of millennium old. I cannot express loudly or vehemently enough the relevance and the need we have for Gods Word. Listen on the radio to sermons, read, watch christian videos, whatever means you can find to get that Word in you! When the bible tells us to put on the full armor of God it means all of the armour. Read Ephesians 6:13-18 and think what each piece of armor means.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your love for us. Thank you for your Word that strengthens us. Lord we ask you reveal your paths for us. Keep us safe from the devils snares. Lord help us apply your ways and bring the Word to min d all the time. We love you Lord and lift your name above all others. Be with Matt and his grandpa, comfort and show yourself to them! We ask in Jesus holy and gracious name, Amen
