Daily Prayer

Great morning!What a beautiful fall day yesterday! Temperature perfect, slight breeze, the smells of autum, friends stopping by the garage, the sound of a big block coming to life, oldies on the radio... Man! So relaxing! How are we faithing? Is your spirit restless? Do you walk and wonder if all this Christ stuff is true? Well guess what, sometimes we who walk according to the Word wonder. Why? Because our flesh is tangeble and of this physical world. This body of ours causes so many things to happen to us. Our thought patterns, our desires, our attitudes etc. The cool thing is when God came down to earth he experienced all those same things. He also never sinned or fell for the trappings of this world. Questioning all you see and hear is natural. Questioning to the point of not making a decision is not usefull at all. Jesus knew what his mission was. He knew he had to sacrafice himself for us. His love was large enough to see the outcome and what he must do. Follow this;

1 Corinthians 2:10-16
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?"
But we have the mind of Christ.
NIV

Boy oh boy, when we believe, the spirit of God comes so we can understand his Word. The Sirit of God helps us discern spiritual things relating to our Savior. In the minds of people who have not accepted Jesus, it's all nonsense. The enemy emboldens them to speak horribly about these truths and the people who live by them. Guess what? God loves them too! But he did make us with free choice and if we chose not to believe, well its on us, not God. I'm wondering off here so I'll end and tell you that God loves you and cares about YOU! Make that choice now cause you may never get that chance again.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your love for us that you gave your son so we may spend eternity with you. In the name of Jesus we ask you reveil yourself to the lost. We make this simple prayer, "I accept your free gift of salvation, I don't understand fully but I believe your son died for me. Open my eyes, I want to see Jesus." Guide us o Lord and let us know you are right here, right now, with us. in Jesus name, Amen
