Good morning! How are we faithing? The hectic times we live in can take over our life to the point we miss out or plain stop paying attention to the real truth we garner from the Word of God. Failing to get that input daily can be devastating if something comes our way and we fail to recognize it as a fiery dart from the enemy. As we don the armor of God every day we must be diligent about never lowering or failing to even put it on. The more we seek God in his Word the more we find him in situations that come. Our God is the one who is consistent in his Word. Our God doesn't forget, slip up or ever get to busy so it stands to reason that we ought to at least speak/pray to him constantly and always desire to learn. The Word tells us to pray without ceasing. The word tells us Jesus is steadfast and ever present. The Word tells us no one can snatch us out of his hand so it makes total sense for us to want to learn more and be in constant communication with him. Start today with just one verse, it'll grow from there...
Psa 40:2-4 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah. Blessed is the man that maketh Jehovah his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Jas 1:19-20
Ye know this, my beloved brethren. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
