      Good morning! How are we faithing?  We've been talking about errant thoughts and how they effect our walk. I do not want to give the enemy any credit but we do need to be aware of who and what our enemy is. Check this out;

2Co 11:14
And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.

Gen 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

Rev 12:9
 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him

2Co 2:11

 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

And this that we've seen many times before;

1Pe 5:8-9
  Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,   whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.

Do you see that? Our common enemy is a deceiver, a liar, an accuser of the brethren so what better way to attack us than through our thoughts which cause our tongues to speak things that are not as though they are and thus, speak things into being. Doubt this? How many times has a thought entered your mind, you express the fear of it and it comes to pass. You think it is preordained for your tail to be whooped? You think speaking junk wont create or cause junk? You better change your mind on that because like we talked about earlier this week, speaking curses and negativity begats the like. Think this weekend and pay close attention to the thoughts that pass through your mind and be mindful of your dealings with them and how you speak of them. You will be surprised just how subtle the enemy can be...

Remember Baily Ford and her family...remember Sebastian Major and his family...

Heavenly Father,
  Bless us and our work in your name. Help us see truth and help us see attacks before they can take effect. Lord we ask for wisdom in all we do and say. Hold our tongues and minds close to your heart. Just like David fell for what his eyes saw, help us recognize before we step into things that can harm us. Lord we lift those mentioned to you. Heal hearts, minds and souls, in Jesus name, amen
