daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Letting the worlds wisdom operate in our minds is dangerous because our minds are renewed in Christ. We cannot partake of foolish wisdom if we profess the Lord and believe his Word. It's like a bird knowing he can fly away from the cat that's trying to catch him but doesn't fly off because the cat told him he should walk. How are we to be the light of the world if we stay in the darkness of it? How are we to be salt if we stay back in the bland herds wishing and hoping for ease? The point Jesus made about peace that passes understanding is all about being wise and courageous in those things the Lord tells us. Trusting and believing that you know he will always hold true to what he has told us. If we waver or doubt he can, we are sliding down a slope we have a hard time stoping. I have trouble sometimes because every sense of my physical is telling me otherwise and I want to run but inside...inside... my joy, my peace that makes no sense to the world is at work and if Jesus said it, I know that I know it it so therefore I bite my lip, press on through that icky feeling of fear and doubt. Doubt is gonna ebb and flow but why? Because of the senses, because of situational fears, because of things from our past but what did Jesus say? What did Jesus do? He defeated everything for the glory of God and we too have that victory when we trust what he said. Remind yourself that Jesus already whooped what you are facing, you just have to pass through to learn and the next time you come in contact with whatever it is, you will taste victory and not defeat. Wow man, just think about that...

Heb 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom. Thank you for your love. Thank you for being ever present in our lives. I don't know how you do it but I know that I know that I know you do. Bless those mentioned. Heal bodies and minds. Comfort the caretakers. Bless our leaders and bless this country. Spread your Holy Spirit all over this nation. Return us to you. In Jesus name, amen
