      Good morning! How are we faithing? When you are feeling down or things are piling up in your life you are susceptible to attacks from our common enemy. Our common enemy as believers in Jesus the Christ is satan and his henchmen. When we are born again the Holy Spirit dwells within us therefore demons cannot dwell there in other words, darkness cannot live where light is. Believe me when I say that you surely can be harassed by evil spirits. Don't think so? Jesus himself was tempted and dealt with those harassing demons all the time. Those said same demons, evil spirits etc. can and will try to trip us up and try to turn our minds off the things of God and onto something else. It can start as something very innocent and morph into something dangerous by cluttering our mind into obsession. I know from where I speak because I have succumbed to obsession before and only by the miraculous hand of God did those things not do me in. Look around. There are people who are deep in an obsession and they don't even realize that thing has the lead in their life. Let me tell you, anything but a "God first" mindset will fail. Take a look at what is controlling your life. Is it work? Hunting? Drag racing? Jogging? Charity work?  If God isn't leading, the other side is. Subtly perhaps but that rudder is still being steered away from the light if God is not at the helm. Just analyze your priorities. Be honest with yourself. Ask some questions, what do you fall asleep thinking about? What do you wake thinking about?

 Psa 119:105-107
  NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.   I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.  I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

1Jn 1:5-7  

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 

Rom 13:11-14  

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. 

Heavenly Father,

  Bring to our attention the things that are hindering our walk and talk with you. Let your light shine where it ought to shine. Teach us and show us truth in all we ancounter. Be our God as we praise and honor you. In Jesus name, amen
