daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Attitude adjustments must be done when ever we discover we are more concerned with what we think we need rather than what God has already given us.  We ought to be  happy for those people who have excelled and achieved rather than whine because we haven't.  We should praise even in a storm because we have a God who cares and we can praise him even in a storm.  Life throws us curve and knuckle balls all the time so how do you swing at them? Do you rave and cuss because of the unpredictability of the pitch or do you thank God for an opportunity to learn and perhaps improve?  Don't miss the point here this morning.  As you go through today, pay attention to how you respond. Do you have a thankful heart for real or are you playing a part and lose it when things don't happen the way you want? Appearances don't mean a thing if they are fake. God knows so you might as well confront and ask for help rather than hide it. I've known some people that complain about the most rudimentary things and I wondered why or what they were so mad. I doubt the thing they are crabbing about is the issue at all but an unrepentant spirit or perhaps an unforgiving one. Which ever it is, if you are there, hit the floor my friend and seek God's face and ask for forgiveness before your heart hardens too far.

Eph 4:30-32
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

1Th 5:19-23
Quench not the Spirit.  Despise not prophesyings.  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for everything. Create in us a clean heart so we see all the things we need to see for what they are. Help us not hold onto bitterness and rage over things that aren't ours. Help us love truly and not just outwardly. Help us remember who we are and who you are. Lord we lift these people mentioned, touch them, heal them in Jesus name, amen
