Good morning! How are we faithing? We've talked before of the power in our words. We have got to be aware of what we say and how we speak. Anger induces lips to flap if we do not take care to monitor our words. Bias makes opinions vocal. When we talk are we speaking with pride as to knowing something others don't? Do you speak to prove you're smarter than others? Do you have an opinion that differs from others and an attitude that you have to turn them to your opinion at all costs and if you don't, name calling commences? What motivates you to speak vile things against someone? Didn't Jesus tell us to pray for our enemies? That's not a platitude people but a command. Hey man, I catch myself doing it too. My weakness is stupidity based on no or minimal information. Drives me nuts but I have no right to speak evil. My speech ought to bless. Remind yourself of these verses...
Tit 2:7-8
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Tit 3:1-2
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that always edifies. Thank you for showing the true path to holiness. Help us curb our tongue. Help blessing be in our minds instead of wrath. Grant us wisdom Lord. Grant peace in our minds, spirits and souls. In Jesus name, amen
