daily prayer

     Good morning! How are we faithing? I heard some teaching recently that struck a chord. I deal with many who have such a low image of themselves and guess what folks, that ought not be.  Heave we all screwed up? Yup. Have we all dealt with things without wisdom? Yup. Will we do similar if not the same things again? Most likely. If you know Jesus as savior pay attention. If you do not know Jesus as savior lets talk privately so this will make sense. Any student of the Word must have heard that we are new creatures in Christ. The old has passed away, all has become new. Yes we still dwell in these bodies that God made for his purpose but we are new. I know many who have physical and mental maladies due to birth defects, accidents etc. and let me tell you, a purpose exists. You or I may know recognise why and the what fors but does that matter? Do we have to know the reason for everything? Lets face it, we can't. Believing in a God that controls everything how could we possibly see the entire picture? Of course we can't. We have difficulty seeing things in our vapor like existence.  Here's where the faith comes in.

Eph 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

So that being true, all of us are his workmanship, how could we criticize God? On what basis could we possibly know what's best in the long run? What would make us think we know more than the creator? Our faith in our God doesn't mean we like some things but we for sure have to trust him and believe he is indeed in control. How about this promise?

Eph 1:3-6

  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 

So we were designed before the world was formed? Yup. How cool is that? I can't begin to fathom the billions of people designed before the planet and I whine about some little thing that irritates me? Please. Think I'll look to my savior and a tad beyond me...hoe about you?

Heavenly Father,

   Thank you for your love. I know I don't come to you with everything I should so please forgive any arrogance. Thank you for your grace and gift of pardon Lord, you truly are wonderful and wonderfully made us all. Open our eyes and we ask for wisdom rather than riches. We ask for revelation rather than comfort. We ask to know how to help your children. In Jesus name, amen
